You're invited to an historic event: the first concert by an all-trans chorus led by a trans Artistic Director. In 2016, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles gave their inaugural performance, just six months after being formed. This documentary tracks the group from their first meeting up through their acclaimed debut with a program that includes a 16th century French chanson, the glam rock classic "All the Young Dudes," and an uplifting original composition by one of the chorus members.

Composed entirely of trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming singers, the group represents an extraordinary diversity. One member attended Julliard. Another fronted a heavy metal band. Many had no previous musical background. Together, they transform their roughly two dozen unique voices into something singular and dynamic, informed by their intimate experiences with transitioning and evolving. This thrilling, inspirational musical diary is sure to leave you smiling, even if you need a box of Kleenex within reach. - Frank Danay
