Malaika Vaz, Nitye Sood, Filmmakers

Vaz is a National Geographic Explorer, TV presenter, and wildlife filmmaker. She hosts, directs, and produces documentaries on the environment and wildlife conservation. Her work has aired on television networks like Nat Geo Wild, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and Al Jazeera. Her most recent TV series is Living with Predators. Passionate about creating policy impact, she collaborates with organizations like WildAid and the Wildlife Trust of India on anti-trafficking investigations and campaigns.


A Green-Oscar nominated wildlife filmmaker and cinematographer, Sood has worked on productions for National Geographic, Animal Planet, Netflix, the BBC, and Al Jazeera. Recently, he has turned his attention to creating films that can inspire conservation action and tangible change on the ground. His series Living with Predators focuses on the co-existence between communities and India's big cats and airs on Nat Geo Wild.
