Four soldiers’ mothers changed the course of Israeli history forever when they protested against the ongoing war in Lebanon. One mother interviewed says, “I’ll do his laundry, feed him, and then send him off to war where he might die. How? How did we become like this? How can it be that we go against our most basic survival instincts?” The four mothers in the film inspired Women Wage Peace, a Jewish-Arab peace movement and Moms Against Violence.
