Meet the directors behind some of your favourite animated short films competing at this year's festival! Recorded at MAF 2024 join us for an exciting Q+A where we dive deep into their creative processes, discover behind-the-scenes stories, and ask the burning questions you've always wanted answered. Moderated by MAF Short Film Porgrammer Isabelle Croissant and featuring Mario Radev, director of [S], Anna Tõkés director of The Last Drop, Mee and Burd Director Greg McLeod and Maryam Mohajer Director of And Granny Would Dance.

Marmar listens to the stories told by her grandmother’s friends as they play an illicit game of cards. Based on childhood memories and shared stories, And Granny would dance is a tale of love, grief and resilience. At its heart, it is a tribute to the solidarity of Iranian women.
