Kiloku, a rhino monitor on a sanctuary in northern Kenya, has a big problem. The population of critically endangered Black rhinos he protects has grown so quickly, they have now run out of space, threatening to turn on each other in a death-match for territory.
His surroundings are not safe, bandits threaten his team from the north and so expanding the area is impossible.
With the help of a recently qualified ranger named Rita, they set out on an audacious plan. They are going to move 21 of the extremely violent and dangerous, black rhinos to a new safe haven, 60 miles west of Kiloku’s sanctuary. With only 6000 black rhinos left on earth, every one is precious.
