Shira, is spending a month with her father, picking peppers in his greenhouses.  Since her parents' divorce, she has not lived with him and their relationship is full of burdens from the past.  Stranger and lonely, she finds herself in the picking routine, surrounded by the foreign Thai workers and slowly around their presence, she begins to feel belonging and at home.
