Damon is an award-winning writer, director, author and activist. In 2015, he released his debut feature documentary 'That Sugar Film' , which broke Australian box office records, was released in 25 territories and picked up a host of awards around the world. He also authored a companion book, 'That Sugar Book', which was a best seller in Australia, is published in 20 countries and translated into 8 languages. Damon’s latest feature documentary ‘2040’ recently become one of Australia’s highest grossing documentaries of all time and is currently being released internationally. His accompanying book ‘2040: A Handbook for the Regeneration’ is published by Pan Macmillan. An in-demand thought leader and keynote speaker, Damon has received numerous accolades for his work, including a nomination for NSW Australian of the Year in 2020.
Paul Hawken
Paul Hawken starts ecological businesses, writes about nature and commerce, and consults with
heads of state and CEOs on climatic, economic and ecological regeneration. He has appeared on
numerous media including the Today Show, Talk of the Nation, Bill Maher, and Charlie Rose, and
has been profiled or featured in hundreds of articles including the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek,
Washington Post, and Business Week. He has written eight books including five national and
NYT bestsellers: Growing a Business, The Ecology of Commerce, Blessed Unrest, and
Drawdown (2017). He is published in 50 countries and 30 languages. His latest book, Drawdown,
The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming debuted April 18,
2017 as a NYT bestseller and is currently in fourteen other languages. He is the founder of
Project Drawdown, which works with over two hundred scholars, students, scientists,
researchers, and activists to map, measure, and model the one hundred most substantive
solutions that can cumulatively reverse global warming by reducing and sequestering greenhouse
gases. He is currently creating Regeneration, Ending the Climate Crisis in One Generation.
Kate Raworth
Kate Raworth is an economist focused on making economics fit for the 21st century. Her book Doughnut Economics: seven ways to think like a 21st century economist is an international bestseller that has been translated into 18 languages, and was long-listed for the 2017 Financial Times & McKinsey Business Book of the Year award. She is co-founder of Doughnut Economics Action Lab, working with cities, business, communities, governments and educators to turn Doughnut Economics from a radical idea into transformative action. She teaches at Oxford University’s Environmental Change Institute and is Professor of Practice at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Neel Tamhane
Neel Tamhane is a decentralised energy access specialist working with ME SOLshare in Bangladesh. A World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Neel has worked with various renewable energy social enterprises to incorporate design thinking and build solutions with a more user-centred designed approach. He is constantly on the search for new innovative solutions that can help improve our lives and make them more sustainable.
