Director, Damon Gameau
Damon is an award-winning writer, director, author and activist. In 2015, he released his debut feature documentary 'That Sugar Film' , which broke Australian box office records, was released in 25 territories and picked up a host of awards around the world. He also authored a companion book, 'That Sugar Book', which was a best seller in Australia, is published in 20 countries and translated into 8 languages. Damon’s latest feature documentary ‘2040’ recently become one of Australia’s highest grossing documentaries of all time and is currently being released internationally. His accompanying book ‘2040: A Handbook for the Regeneration’ is published by Pan Macmillan. An in-demand thought leader and keynote speaker, Damon has received numerous accolades for his work, including a nomination for NSW Australian of the Year in 2020.
Chad Frischmann
Chad Frischmann is a co-author and the lead researcher of the New York Times best-seller Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming (Penguin, 2017) and the Drawdown Review (February, 2020). Drawdown was the #1 best-selling environmental book of 2017. In collaboration with a global team of researchers, Chad designed integrated global models to assess the world’s most effective climate solutions and determine if, when, and how the world can reach “drawdown,” the point in time when the concentration of atmospheric greenhouse gases begins to decline on a year-to-year basis. With an interdisciplinary background in public policy, human rights, sustainable development, and environmental conservation, Chad works as a systems strategist to build a new, regenerative future with cascading benefits to the environment and to human well-being. As head of research and technology since Project Drawdown’s inception, Chad is a key spokesperson and coalition-builder dedicated to sharing the message and model of Drawdown with the world.

Dr. Mamta Mehra
Dr. Mamta Mehra is an environmental professional with more than ten years of expertise in climate change, agriculture, and natural resource management. Currently, she is working with Project Drawdown as a Senior Fellow, where she is focusing on Drawdown solutions in the Land Use and Food sectors. She is also working as an independent consultant and working with various national and international organizations on climate change issues and is one of the senior analysts of the Keeling Curve Prize. Previously, Dr. Mehra worked in different research capacities for Swiss Aid, UNDP-Australian Aid, and World Bank. Dr. Mehra has authored many peer reviewed papers and is one of the contributors to the New York Times bestseller book, “Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming”.
Ryan Allard, PhD
Ryan leads research at Project Drawdown that models transportation and buildings solutions. He has also been involved in developing the underlying computer models that support all of Project Drawdown's research across the land-based, energy generation, waste, and human rights solutions. Prior to Project Drawdown, Ryan worked in Finance and Management Consulting in multiple cities on two continents and multiple islands. He earned PhD and MSc degrees in Transportation Systems at the University of Lisbon in Portugal, and a BSc in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering at MIT in Boston, USA.
Host, Crystal Chissell
As Vice President of Operations & Engagement at Project Drawdown, Crystal draws on her experience and interdisciplinary background in local and state government, law, business and social equity. She cultivates strategic partnerships and networks that foster public engagement to move the world toward scaling climate solutions. She speaks publicly about climate solutions and serves as an expert resource for news media, interest groups and advocacy organizations.
