Damon is an award-winning writer, director, author and activist. In 2015, he released his debut feature documentary 'That Sugar Film' , which broke Australian box office records, was released in 25 territories and picked up a host of awards around the world. He also authored a companion book, 'That Sugar Book', which was a best seller in Australia, is published in 20 countries and translated into 8 languages. Damon’s latest feature documentary ‘2040’ recently become one of Australia’s highest grossing documentaries of all time and is currently being released internationally. His accompanying book ‘2040: A Handbook for the Regeneration’ is published by Pan Macmillan. An in-demand thought leader and keynote speaker, Damon has received numerous accolades for his work, including a nomination for NSW Australian of the Year in 2020.
Eric Holthaus
Eric Holthaus is the leading journalist on all things weather and climate change. He has written regularly for The Wall Street Journal, Slate, Grist, and The Correspondent, where he currently covers our interconnected relationship with the climate. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Renée Lertzman
Renée Lertzman is a researcher, educator and eco-engagement strategist who uses psychological insights to change our approach to the environmental crisis. Applying her training as a psychosocial researcher specializing in deep human insights, she uses frameworks and methods that empower people to take action and create impact on climate and sustainability issues. She works with companies and organizations looking to strengthen climate and sustainability initiatives, develop more effective campaigns, and harness the creativity and innovation needed to solve big problems.
