Friend of a Friend is a documentary short film about the ways in which we can come together to promote social connectivity. Specifically, this film highlights the ways in which older people foster community to combat social isolation and loneliness, making it a film full of laughs, learning, fun, and even more pancakes! Entirely created by a group of older students from an Institute for Learning in Retirement, the unique passion project turned out to be the group’s first film together.
