This dramatised award-winning documentary features the great philhellenic poet Lord Byron’s romantic deliberations, liberal ideology and deep sensitivity and love of the Greek culture.

Byron’s verses reflect the inspiration he draws from the eternal beauty of monuments. Having fallen passionately in love with Teresa Makri, he writes the poem "Daughter of Athens". Through his poetic masterpiece "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage," Byron speaks fervently of the dreams of those who participated in the Greek uprising and of the freedom of Greece.

"Lord Byron in Attica" is a creative work of art dedicated to the 200 years of the Greek revolution that is based on the book with the same title by Panos Trigazis and depicts the great poet's philhellenism and struggle for freedom.

The film received the 1st prize for Best Documentary of Medium Length at the sixth International Film Festival of Nafplio, Greece.
