Wandering across the Cypriot landscape, it is common to see terraces come alive with grapes of different colours. On the hillsides of the wine villages, you can find clusters of drystones that support vine cultivation. Many pairs of hands are involved in the craft of winemaking, from the construction of terraces and caring for the vineyards, to the harvesting of grapes and the crushing and pressing of the fruit to get the desired final product. This documentary aims to highlight the eternal art of Cypriot wine production by unfolding the timeless methods of wine production, the newly acquired knowhow, as well as the social aspects of Cypriot wine.
