The documentary attempts to present the side-lined Cypriot artist Costas Stathis. On the one hand, aspects of his life are presented through the interview of the writer Evridiki Pericleous Papadopoulou and on the other hand, the characteristics and the value of his art works are analysed through an interview with Art Critic Eleni Nikita. The artist Costas Stathis was born in the village of Askas in Pitsilia in 1913, despite all the difficulties and obstacles that he had encountered in his time, he managed to produce unique works of art. Today, he is highly ranked amongst the pioneers of modern Cypriot Art.
