Join Afrikana and Mobolaji Dawodu, Fashion Director for GQ & GQ Style and Costume Designer for a conversation about the role of fashion in film and the ways that costuming and styling move cinematic narratives forward. We'll also explore his journey as a fashion designer and learn more about his role as Fashion Director at GQ and GQ Style where he imparts his international flair on artists from around the world.

About Mobolaji Dawodu: The work of Mobolaji Dawodu has informed the visual language of cosmopolitan life and style for more than a decade. As a part of his role as Fashion Director at GQ and GQ Style he has styled artists like Mahershala Ali, Lupita N'yongo, Brad Pitt, Kanye West and Jonathan Majors. Mobolaji, a graduate of Hermitage High School in Richmond VA, has designed costumes for independent film projects such as Mother of George and Hollywood productions to include Queen of Katwe.
