Troy Wohosky was on his way to being one of the best boxers in the world, but his gang affiliation changed his life, took his boxing career from him, and nearly saw him in prison. After turning his life around and starting a non-profit boxing gym for at-risk youth in Medford, Troy has taken kids off the streets, turning them into champions, and giving them hope for a better future. (APRIL 26-27)

Director’s Statement: Jon Lang

This film means a lot to me. I literally grew up in the space Troy's gym now occupies. I grew up on the streets of Medford, have lost friends to gang violence, and some have lost their lives to that lifestyle. I grew up in poverty and have used film, hard work, and dedication to elevate myself out of that life so that I can help others like myself and Troy.

Food Pairing Suggestion:

Programmer Amara Waterman is going to punch up her evening by picking up Ahi Tuna Poke and a Grapefruit Margarita at the Peerless before watching Impact.
