The Asian American Documentary Network commissioned 15 microdocs and 3 personal essays in response to the rise in anti-Asian sentiment. By leaning into our strengths as documentarians of the Asian diaspora, we want to record perspectives that can disrupt mainstream narratives about Asian communities.
