Hollywood North presented by Vancouver Asian Film Festival

To celebrate our 25th anniversary during Asian Pacific Heritage Month, Vancouver Asian Film Festival has curated these award winning short films from our local communities featuring stories about Asian Canadian history, Asian diaspora culture, and the rigid traditions of some Asian families. There will also be a local musician sharing his experiences with mental health issues. We continue to showcase Asian Canadian stories as we celebrate diversity in film. Stay tuned for our upcoming Festival from Nov. 4 - 14, 2021, and learn more at vaff.org.

A group of Taiwanese friends enjoy their meal in a Chinese restaurant while discussing the differences between FOB (Fresh Off the Boat) and CBC (Canadian Born Chinese), until a mysterious Bunny mascot enters and disturbs the night.
