Philly: Workshop of Dreams presented by Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival

The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival exists first and foremost as a platform for storytellers and artists of the Asian and Pacific Island diaspora, and while our scope is often wide enough to be considered global, we ultimately belong to our city. This program highlights local voices while looking at intersections of class, nationality, culture, and more within Philly's Asian communities, as folks behind and in front of the camera struggle for recognition, dignity, and the promise of dreams fulfilled. Stay tuned for our upcoming festival this November 4 - 14, 2021. Learn more at PAAFF.org

BESIEGED follows the lives of Yang and Victor, Chinese half-brothers who have been in competition with each other their entire lives. Yang, an aspiring actor, auditions for a prestigious film role, only to realize that his younger brother Victor, a violin prodigy, is auditioning for the same role as well.
