SYNOPSIS
In 1907, the Toemoek Hoemak expedition took place under the leadership of Claudius de Goeje.
The expedition was intended to map the rainforest of southern Suriname. During the trip, Claudius made the first contacts with the Wayana tribe.
One hundred years later, his descendant is trekking through the jungle in search of the Wayana and to see what the consequences of this colonial expedition were.
