The production cycle of marmor' is a documentary film divided into three parts that analyzes all activities involved in the production cycle of ornamental rocks throughout History; from the quarry to the marble objets last reuses.

The first episode deals with sources and scientific disciplines involved int e study of marble (Geology, Archaeology, History, Anthropology...) and how decorative rocks - mamora - have been linked since Classical Antiquity to values of wealtha, prestige and political legitimacy.

The second episode deals with ornamental rocks throughtout History, the processes and techniques related to the extraction of rocks in quarry, their transport by sea, river, and land, as well as the living conditions of stone workers throughout History.

The last episode deals with all uses given to ornamental rocks since Classical Antiquity, such as architecture, sculpture and furniture, as well as the repairs, reuses and reception of marble objects from Roman times to nowadays in the Iberian Peninsula.
