Using a nonlinear structure interlaced with dreams and flashbacks, Dream creates a stream-of-consciousness meditation on war time in Armenia that draws on events from the life of Arto, a taxi driver from Hrazdan. After losing his best friend in the Second Artsakh war, he finds himself in a situation where he can’t feel his existence to himself and to the people around him. The only people he believes are aware of him is the refugee family he sheltered during the war. He thinks this is the family of his fallen friend.
