Synopsis: Roxanne McCue is a renowned medium and spiritualist called to the Menagerie Hotel to investigate a series of disturbances. She meets with Joanna Pleasant, the heiress to the hotel, who is convinced that a spirit is sabotaging her attempts to paint over a strange mural she painted on one of the hotel's walls as a child. As Roxanne attempts to make contact with the spirit, she learns that the specter she seeks to help is as dangerous and unpredictable as a caged animal.
