Join a conversation on Environmental Leadership this April 23 at 12:30 p.m. PDT/3:30 p.m. EDT hosted by the Atlanta Film Festival and the new documentary CARTERLAND. The film examines the tragic yet inspiring story of America's most misunderstood president, Jimmy Carter, and explores how Carter’s selfless leadership and moral integrity ultimately cost him the presidency.

The virtual panel will feature Theresa Pierno, President & CEO of the National Parks Conservation Association; Bruce Hamilton, National Policy Director for the Sierra Club; Jason Corzine, Vice President for Resource Management at the National Park Foundation; and former National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis. Moderated by best-selling author and historian Douglas Brinkley, the discussion will use selected clips from the upcoming documentary CARTERLAND to prompt dialogue on environmental leadership through the example of Jimmy Carter. The panelists will also share perspectives on forward looking solutions to some of the conservation issues of today.

The documentary will premiere at the Atlanta Film Festival. Tickets can be found at the following link: https://atlantafilmfestival2021.eventive.org/schedule/606df41f576f0c004562403f
