Where are you from?
"Where are you from?" combines 3D animation and music creating an immersive cinematic journey, effectively conveying the urgency of addressing environmental disasters and their consequences through realism and fantasy. In just 2 and a half minutes, it aims to captivate the audience's attention and encourage them to rethink their relationship with the natural world while offering hope for future generations.
It was premiered at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2023 and has participated in 130 festivals worldwide, winning 30 awards.
In December 2023, it was screened at the COP28 (United Nations Climate Change Conference) in Dubai, as part of the Art Speaks Out Festival, and at the Show Shorts (Shorts Mexico) festival within the Ventana Sur Film Market.
In 2024, the film won the Amnesty International Film Festival in France, was screened at the Clermont Ferrand Short Film Market, at the WonderCon in California, at the Huesca Film Festival (Goya and Oscars Qualifying), at the world's largest school, City Montessori School in India and chosen by the UNESCO and the European Union for screenings in educational centers, among others.
Currently, it will be screened at the COP16 in Colombia, at the world's oldest environmental festival, Suncine (FICMA), also at the 32nd edition of the environmental and human rights festival Ecocine, (which are part of the prestigious Green Film Network), among others.
