In 1976, a bourgeois housewife heads to her beach house on the coast of Chile to supervise its renovation, only to be interrupted by a request from the priest at the church where she does charity work: to take care of a young revolutionary—a man he is secretly giving asylum to—who has just been hurt. The woman steps onto unexplored territories, away from the quiet life she is used to.
