Told from alternating points of view, A Hand to Hold explores the connective thread of handholding between parent and child. When mother and child release hands and enjoy the freedom that comes from letting go they do so knowing they will always be joined.


About the Directors:


Ali Clark is an award-winning director and animator specializing in feature film title sequences, music videos, and short animated pieces. She loves to bring illustrations and stories to life and is fascinated with how simple animation can feel so alive, so human, and so relatable, representing an array of abstract human thoughts and emotions.









Stacey Davis is an award-winning filmmaker and entertainment lawyer. She made her directorial debut with the dramedy short Cherry and the short documentary Pie in the Puss: A Brief History of Pieing in Film, with past screenings at DC Shorts, Edmonton, Cucalorus and others.
