Don't stop believing in the Journey franchise. Their iconic song is the most downloaded tune in iTunes history, and, four nights a week, the band plays to 15,000-person Bic-flicking audiences all over the world. That's why picking a replacement singer was a really big deal for Journey guitarist Neal Schon who, after listening to thousands of singers covering Journey songs, finally heard Arnel Pineda, a slight, 40-something Filipino lounge singer, on YouTube. "I had to walk away because I thought he can't be that good. I called him that night," says Schon. This film tells the real life rock and roll fairy tale of the dynamic Pineda and how he opens huge new markets for American music throughout the world. But can Arnel, with his history of homelessness, alcohol and drugs, resist the overwhelming temptations and pressure of big-time rock and roll?
