Nuotama Bodomo (Afronauts, Boneshaker, Everybody Dies!, Random Acts of Flyness) and Fox Maxy (San Diego, Maat Means Land, Watertight, Petroleum Jelly) invite us to repattern and relisten, to retune and reimagine the sensory experience through their works. Join these innovative and genre-bending artists in conversation with Tina Campt, Black feminist theorist of visual culture and contemporary art, as they discuss their practices of drawing from Indigenous sensibilities to break cinematic form and tap into ancestral ways of knowing and being in the creative process.
