Ahmet, a recluse whose world revolves around his home and the garden where his wife is buried, refuses to move into a new house despite the imminent threat of flooding from a nearby dam. When his estranged son returns in an effort to convince Ahmet to leave, long-simmering tensions resurface and the two must decide whether to move the grave or to surrender to the fast-rising flood waters.
