The Palestinian refugee Ibrahim Harb spent his life photographing people, telling their stories by transferring moments of their lives in a way that radiates Palestinian values and struggles. His granddaughter, Bissan, followed her grandfather's way as she drew a road map of her journey to find beauty through the camera lens that her grandfather gave her. To My Grandfather refreshes these memories with stories, images and feelings.

Primarily set in the al-Mishal Cultural Center in Gaza (before it was destroyed on August 9, 2018), A Play Before The Bombs is a story that unfolds over a 4 year period. The film provides a behind-the-scenes look at the creative pursuits of Abeer Ahmed, a young woman growing up in the Jabaliya Refugee Camp, as she and the other members of her cast and crew prepare to put on a play that focuses on a Palestinian woman’s right to receive inheritance. While the content of the play is tailored towards fostering a cultural discussion among Palestinians, neither the play nor the playhouse can escape the omnipresence of the Israeli siege on Gaza. A siege that shatters literal buildings as well as the hopes and dreams of the performers and community members who take refuge within the walls of Al-Mishal in search of artistic fulfillment.

Mariam, Lamiaa, and Fatima are nurses who attend the weekly Friday protests along the Gaza separation barrier in Khan-Younis, treating injured protestors. Totally armless yet targeted nonetheless by Israeli soldiers, they do not relinquish despite their suffering and loss of dear ones.&nbsp;

“Not Just Your Picture” tells the story of two young German-Palestinian siblings, Ramsis and Layla Kilani, who had their life shattered one early morning during the summer of 2014, when their father Ibrahim, together with his second wife and their five young children, was killed by an Israeli airstrike during the attacks on Gaza.&nbsp; Thrusted into an accelerated process of politicization and rediscovery of their Palestinian roots, the two struggle to find justice for their family while trying to make sense of a political reality that not only allows for such atrocities to happen, but even attempts to silence any criticism of it.&nbsp;
