The 100% AI-generated music video takes place on an imaginary lake in one of the world's most beautiful and harshest region, Siberia. Siberia is almost 9% of the Earth total land area, 29% of Asia and more than 75% of Russia's land area.
The music video is about the escalation and resolution of conflicts between local ethnic groups living in Siberia. In the battle, their animals also clash, symbolically representing the weapons and the nature of the conflict.
I especially focused on the traditional motives of Siberian folklore clothes (Yakut, Evenk, Chukchi, Nenets) but also used other motives for the clothes (e.g. Russian).
For the background music, I chose Pelageya's beautiful song "Birdie," which I enhanced with Mongolian battle rhythms and sound stems using AI music generator.
The video expresses a universal human desire for peaceful coexistence, using symbolic imagery of AI.
The video is also part of my heritage preservation work, where I reinterpret the cultural values of the past (songs, traditional clothing, customs) with the help of AI, so that people living in a universal cultural environment, detached from traditions, can become more familiar with them.
