Steven Oritt – Director - Steven is an American director who began working in music videos and moved into documentaries with his feature-length debut “American Native” which earned best director/documentary awards at the 2015 Manchester International Film Festival, Harlem International Film Festival and Atlanta International Documentary Film Festival. Steven then launched James Lucy Productions which is currently developing an episodic series for AMC Networks, recently completed Steven’s follow-up documentary “Accidental Climber,” as well as Steven’s feature debut, “My Name is Sara.”


Mickey Shapiro - Executive Producer and USC Shoah Foundation Board of Councilors Executive Committee Member. This story is based upon the true story of Mickey’s mother Sara Guralnik.


David Himmelstein - Screenwriter - David Himmelstein began his writing career as a speechwriter for Senator Edward Brooke. He transitioned to journalism, was awarded a Neiman Fellowship in Journalism at Harvard, and shortly after that, a fellowship from the Writers Guild of America, which launched his screenwriting career. His movies have ranged from politics to sports to horror and suspense — starting with Power, directed by Sidney Lumet, starring Richard Gere, Denzel Washington and Julie Christie – and include Village of the Damned, Soul of the Game, and Bad Company.
