A discussion of Ver Vet Blaybn? (Who Will Remain?), the documentary film that follows one woman's journey to understand her grandfather, the Yiddish writer Avrom Sutzkever (1913-2010) with filmmakers Christa P. Whitney (co-director and producer) and Emily Felder (co-director and editor), and Hadas Kalderon (granddaughter of Avrom Sutzkever and producer). Moderated by Justin Cammy, professor of World Literatures and Jewish Studies at Smith College, leading scholar of the Yiddish writers' group Yung Vilne (Young Vilna), and translator into English an edition of Sutzkever's wartime diary (forthcoming fall 2021).
