CELEBRATE THE MONUMENTAL LIFE AND LEGACY OF SIMONE VEIL, ONE OF THE MOST BELOVED FRENCHWOMEN OF ALL TIME.

As a Holocaust survivor who became President of the European Parliament, the dramatic life of French magistrate and politician Simone Veil perfectly mirrored Europe’s 20th century history – from near destruction to prosperity and peace. In this epic, star-studded biopic, director Olivier Dahan (La Vie en Rose, Grace of Monaco) offers a complex and captivating portrayal of Veil as a feminist icon – a determined, principled and highly compassionate woman whose tragic war experience instilled in her the desire to make the world a better, more humane and just place.
