Sweet Auburn’s Reading Room is a three to five-minute documentary about For Keeps Bookstore, and its owner and proprietor Rosa Duffy. For Keeps Bookstore specializes in the collection and resale of rare Black books, zines, and publications, as well as acting as a space for Black artists and organizations to host their events. Located in the historic Sweet Auburn district, a neighborhood with rich black historical significance and unfortunately, on the brink of gentrification, Duffy is determined to keep the black identity of the street strong with her business.
