Geared to age 5 to Adult!

Aardman, the creative people behind such groundbreaking clay animated films as the Oscar-winning Wallace & Gromit films, Chicken Run, and Shaun the Sheep, is offering a unique opportunity for you and your child to learn how to make your very own Shaun the Sheep character at this fun, hands-on clay modelling workshop.

Led by Aardman's Senior Model Maker, Jim Parkyn, you’ll also get the opportunity to ask any burning questions you have and learn some insider Aardman tips, too.

This is open to both children and adults.

For this workshop you will need to purchase the following materials:

White clay: 130g (4.6 oz)

Black clay: 70g (2.47 oz)

Popsicle sticks: 5

Baby wipes or a towel (to clean hands with when switching between clay colors)

Aardman recommends using Newplast, but other types of modelling clay will be fine too (e.g. Fimo, Play-Doh, Plasticine). There are also recipes online where you can make your own clay out of household ingredients, if you are feeling particularly creative!
