When the Taliban puts a bounty on Afghan director Hassan Fazili’s head, he is forced to flee with his wife Fatima and two young daughters, Nargis and Zahra. Their uncertain journey towards Europe in search of asylum becomes a three-year, 3,500-mile overland trek through Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. Captured entirely on just three mobile phones, Fazili shows first-hand the dangers facing refugees seeking asylum and the love shared between a family on the run.

After the screening we will be joined by Shirley Ferrier from Massive Outpouring of Love (MOOL) and members of the local refugee community, to reflect on the film, share their own stories and discuss the work that MOOL does in support of displaced people.
