Followed by a recorded Q&A with filmmaker Jonathan Golden and BBC NI Political Correspondent Stephen Walker, moderated by Solas Nua Board Member Anne Mitchell.

TRUE NORTH: THE FIRST GENERATION explores the remarkable lives of some of Northern Ireland's oldest citizens, revealing the heartwarming stories of those born in 1921, the same year Northern Ireland was founded. Now, as Northern Ireland approaches its centenary in 2021, veteran BBC journalist Stephen Walker speaks to some of the men and women who are as old Northern Ireland itself, people who have witnessed great social, economic and political change over the decades. Walker sets out to discover how such events have shaped their lives, the places they have been and the memories that they treasure. (Note adapted from DoubleBand Films.)

In fond memory of Norman Houston, longtime Director of The Northern Ireland Bureau.
