Alfredo parla da solo, o meglio parla con una sigaretta. Brutta cosa la solitudine, soprattutto a settant'anni. Alfredo è un uomo che ha amato un altro uomo, Mario, talmente tanto da trovare il coraggio di fare coming out e perdere lavoro e famiglia. Mario invece ha continuato la sua vita matrimoniale: è diventato padre e nonno, perché lui è gay, ma solo part-time. La separazione diventa inevitabile.

Alfredo talks to himself, or rather talks with a cigarette. Loneliness is an ugly thing, especially at age 70. Alfredo is a man who loved another man, Mario, so much that he found the courage to come out and lose his job and family. Mario, on the other hand, continued his married life: he became a father and grandfather, because he is gay, but only part-time. Separation became inevitable.
