Roma, 2024, in un quartiere di una periferia un po’ in agitazione, sfreccia una moto a grande velocità. Lì sopra, sul terrazzo di un grattacielo popolare, c’è Kikko, un giovane ragazzo che per arrotondare taglia i capelli ad amici e conoscenti. Ora li sta tagliando ad Oreste, un uomo un po’ rude che gira sempre con il suo pappagallo sulla spalla. Un po’ di piani più in basso c’è Rudy, un vecchio amico di infanzia di Kikko, che chiuso nel bagno cerca di affrontare i suoi problemi di insicurezza nei confronti del mondo e con l’idea di uscire di casa.

Rome, 2024, in a suburb somewhat in turmoil, a motorcycle whizzes by at high speed. Up there, on the terrace of a popular high-rise building, is Kikko, a young boy who cuts the hair of friends and acquaintances to supplement his income. Now he is cutting it for Orestes, a somewhat rough man who always walks around with his parrot on his shoulder. A few floors down is Rudy, an old childhood friend of Kikko's, who locked in the bathroom is trying to deal with his problems of insecurity about the world and with the idea of leaving home.
