Sulla Terra si è abbattuta una strana piaga che ha reso l’aria irrespirabile e portato l’uomo alla quasi estinzione. Un ragazzo con indosso una maschera antigas si aggira su una spiaggia, curiosando in mezzo alla sabbia e vagando senza una chiara destinazione, circondato dall’ irrequietezza del luogo e dal silenzio vigile della strana creatura portatrice del caos. Un giorno, in una delle numerose ronde, il ragazzo trova quel che rimane di un manichino, con attaccata una valigetta contenente una videocamera e la foto di una bambina. L’insolito ritrovamento porterà il giovane a interrogarsi sul senso della propria esistenza da sopravvissuto, ormai priva di qualsiasi contatto umano.

A strange plague has descended on Earth, making the air unbreathable and driving humans to near extinction. A boy wearing a gas mask wanders a beach, poking around in the sand and wandering without a clear destination, surrounded by the 'restlessness of the place and the watchful silence of the strange creature bringing chaos. One day, on one of the many patrols, the boy finds what remains of a dummy, with a briefcase attached containing a video camera and a photo of a little girl. The unusual find will lead the young man to question the meaning of his own existence as a survivor, now devoid of any human contact.
