Produced in Portland, DiaTribe is a documentary film that explores and celebrates rap music in the United States. It is also a tribute to the evolutionary lineage that exists between African music and dance traditions and the rap music and dance styles of today’s youth. Ghanaian Master Drummer and Portland legend, Obo Addy, Portland hip-hop artist, MC Mic Crenshaw, and poet/director AJ Wone come together to tell this fascinating story. Lively rap and dance performances are showcased throughout the film. In English.
