Set during the curfew of 2013 in Egypt, the film is a tense and moving psychological thriller about a dark family secret. Layla is united with her mother Faten, who has spent 20 years in prison. The film explores the trauma that was inflicted on three generations of their family and reveals that love, forgiveness, and reconciliation are possible. In Arabic with English subtitles.
