On a freezing December night, John, an unhoused man, wants to rest in an underground parking lot. When the security guard leaves for a patrol, John enters the parking lot and accidentally finds a car key near a trash heap. Testing it, he discovers a nearby car with cash and chocolate within it. Enjoying the chocolate, John is interrupted by a young driver who he thought was coming to the car he sneaked in. After the young driver enters another car and leaves, John also takes a cautious drive around the lot but meets a security guard who mistakes him for the actual owner of the car. Finally, he takes away a one-hundred RMB with a note, "For the key," before quietly slipping away.
