A father, Jim, fakes his death to help his daughter, Teagan, increase her chances of getting into her dream college. When the plan proves successful, Jim finds himself being cast to the outside of his daughters life instead and is overcome with the sentiment of feeling "used." On the day that Teagan finally leaves for college, Teagan finally confronts her dad and apologizes for not recognizing his sacrifices.
