He is a graduate of California State University Long Beach with a Bachelors Fine Arts degree in Animation. Aside from doing art stuff, he loves everything otter-related and is a weapon hobbyist that enjoys safe shooting at the range. Ryan is currently developing Trouble in Little Asia, another short film featuring an Asian cast with vigilantes and triads fighting against each other in an action-packed, stylish story of betrayal and teamwork.

Iversen participated at Berlinale Talent Campus in 2009, and his short film Levi’s Horse was selected to the Generation section of Berlinale 2012. His debut feature film Oskar’s America, won the first Eurimages Co-production Development Award in 2014 and premiered in the Generation section of Berlinale 2017.

In Mandarin with English subtitles <img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/0da2d6bdb4f56d02e19809f2b6ce6957.jpg" width="268" style="display: inline; margin: 0px 1em 1em 0px; float: left;">Mulan Fu is an award-winning filmmaker, animator, and illustrator currently based in New York City and Shanghai. She has recently graduated from the Film and Television major at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and is currently pursuing a master's degree in educational game design at Teachers College Columbia University. As a storyteller, Mulan is intrigued by the visual richness of Chinese mythologies and the emotional depth of touching familial stories. She aims to explore and promote the Chinese cultural identity through charming and unique tales that have the potentials to bridge the East and the West. Growing up in Asia and studying abroad in Europe and North America, she finds passion in discovering captivating stories along her travels and sharing them with the world through the magical medium of animation.

Only a Child is a visual poem created by over 20 animation directors under the artistic supervision of Simone Giampaolo, which gives shape and colour to the original words spoken by Severn Suzuki at the UN Summit in Rio in 1992, a child’s desperate call to action for the future of our planet. An omnibus film celebrating the environmental youth movement 30 years in the making. <img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/ea4ce3e8ec207c48ffd72b224402055b.jpg" width="247" style="display: inline; float: left; margin: 0px 1em 1em 0px;">Simone Giampaolo is a director and animator from Switzerland (Ticino) with an insatiable appetite for storytelling.&nbsp; In 2013 he graduated with Distinction from the BA (Hons) Computer Animation Arts course at the National Centre for Computer Animation in Bournemouth (UK).&nbsp; Throughout his career he’s directed, story-boarded and animated on over ten animated short films, some of whom have been screened at several international film festivals gaining recognition and also winning some awards.&nbsp; Between 2014 and January 2018 Simone has been working as animation director and CG generalist in the commercial department at Blue-Zoo Animation (based in London, UK) on a multitude of projects for clients such as Cartoon Network, Disney, LEGO, Nickelodeon, Marvel, Lucasfilm and BBC.&nbsp; He is now represented by world-famous studio Aardman Animations as Animation Director. Only a Child is an omnibus animation short that gives shape and colour to Severn Suzuki’s original speech at the UN Summit in Rio (1992): a child’s desperate call to action for our planet’s future.

In particular he worked as a Motion Designer and 3D artist in the following years afterwards. In those years he was also able to direct several corprate films and broadcast opener.&nbsp;Addicted to telling stories with computer generated images, he started his studies of animation at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, which he successfully finished with his Student Academy awarded short film „The Beauty“. Today his working as a freelance Director and CG Artist based in Zurich."

Where does the individual end and the group begin? <img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/0aa4571453eb993549c57fe408de23fb.jpg" width="285" style="display: inline; float: left; margin: 0px 1em 1em 0px;">Born in Switzerland in 1987, Michael Frei is a filmmaker and artist based in Zürich. He studied animation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and at the Estonian Academy of Art in Tallinn. His Films NOT ABOUT US and PLUG &amp; PLAY received numerous awards all over the world. He was invited as an Animation Artist in Residence Tokyo in 2014. His interactive project PLUG &amp; PLAY became an internet phenomenon. Funny. He recently co-founded Playables, a production company for peculiar projects based in Zürich.

KIDS

An animated short exploring group dynamics. How do we define ourselves when we are all equal?

Gonzalo, an imaginative ten-year-old boy in love with football, crosses the mountainous town of Pamplona every day alongside his best friend, a soccer ball, playing with it before school and getting his shoes dirty. Every day, he is scolded during the uniform inspection by his strict professor, Ramón, and punished by being forced to polish his shoes during break time. Everything changes the day Ramón decides to raise the stakes: next time Gonzalo arrives with dirty shoes, he is going to confiscate his soccer ball. Gonzalo is not going to let anything get in his way, only to meet with the most amazing, exciting and difficult journey of his life: the titanic fight of a playful kid getting to uniform inspection with clean shoes. In Spanish with English subtitles <img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/563bbe4d1cf0dc5fa1a2e6e1afb37423.jpg" width="167" style="display: inline; margin: 0px 1em 1em 0px; float: left;"> Giselle Geney is a filmmaker/producer/educator passionate for creating audiovisual content with children and for children. She graduated from the ‘International Television and Film production for children’ course from the Universidad Santiago de Cali in 2015. She has worked as a documentary filmmaker for public children’s television during the past 6 years in tv shows such as ‘Te Re-Creo tus noticias’ (‘I so believe you’), which won the International Unicef Prix Jeunesse award in 2014.&nbsp;Giselle is the screenwriter and director of the children's short film "3pies", which has participated in over 40 national and international film festivals, receiving 13 awards so far, among which are: best children's short film (Children’s Film Festival Seattle - 2019); audience award (Plein La Bobine Festival - 2019; New York Children's International Film Festival - 2020); and, the Grand Jury Prize (New York Children’s International Film Festival - 2020), which earn “3feet” an Oscar Qualifier. Giselle is also co-producer and editor of the short film "Ramón" (2020), directed by Natalia Bernal, on which they continue to consolidate their children’s oriented films team. “Ramón” is part of the official selection for the 66th edition of the Oberhausen festival, and also received the award for best documentary at the Children's Film Festival Seattle - 2020. At this time, Giselle is co-writing her first live-action children's feature film called "Diego, the singer”, alongside the Colombian scriptwriter Johnnier Aristizábal, which will be part of CineKid's Script Lab 2021-2022 (Holland)

3FEET
