This tender and beautiful love story follows Guled, the gravedigger, who goes to the ends of the earth to save his beloved wife Nasra, who is in desperate need of an operation. He enlists his aimless son Mahad to help his ailing mother. The film covers the range of human resilience in the face of adversity, from family tensions to economic strains, and highlights the undying hope to live and thrive.
