A group of forest animals set out on an adventure to learn how to write. Together, they work through many wrong letters and scrambled words in order to send letters to their friend, and learn the importance of perseverance and knowledge.

A small family of shrews lives on the edge of a stream. One day, heavy rains fall sweep away the village, destroying their home. The little family then sets out to find a new place before winter.

Experience the magical world of the forest in all of its seasons, and accompany its furry inhabitants on all of their adventures! Celebrate birthdays and solstices, gather food, and even learn to read and write with the friends of the forest.


This program will also screen in person at NWFF on DAY, Feb. 3 at 1pm! VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON, and HYBRID (virtual AND in-person) Festival Passes are available.
