The Time is Right for Us honors the achievements of Markus Huser, a young deaf man and advocate for self-advocacy for the deaf in Switzerland. As the most important initiator, he played a decisive role in its advancement during the 1980s.

Huser's achievements included the provision of state funding for deaf organizations, enabling the deaf and hard-of-hearing community to stand up for their needs with greater confidence. At the height of his achievements, Huser became very ill, and despite this blow, he fought to the end for the self-determination of the deaf and hard-of-hearing. 

This documentary hopes to preserve his achievements for future generations. His actions shall not fade into oblivion.
