Test Subjects explores the pressure on aspiring scientists to conduct invasive and deadly experiments on animals in order to get their degrees, despite the evidence that experiments on animals actually impede medical progress. 

Know: 95% of new drugs that test safety and effectiveness in animals end up failing in human clinical trials. 90% of basic science discoveries, most of which used animals, fail to lead to improvement in human health. 

Funding must be shifted away from experiments on animals. PETA has developed a detailed strategy for replacing the use of animals in experiments with human-relevant research methods and is calling on the federal government to adopt this plan. Will you help us?
